Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Loved how Alex made me ‘need’ to paint … a contagious, easygoing and amazing artist!

Thanks for inspiring me to start something I’ve long wanted to dive into … but never had the courage …

I loved Alex's relaxed demeanour and gentle humour. The course content was just right, and it was good to work alongside as he demonstrates. My only criticism is that the video kept losing focus, and often at key moments, when we needed to see detail. It seems he may have shot this on auto-focus? I have recommended to 5 friends in any case, and 3 have signed up. Will be fun to share our projects soon!

A really useful course. Full of practical information about basics which had never occurred to me and simply explained. I would recommend it to any beginner.

Excellent artiste pédagogue, dont j'ai poursuivi son enseignement avec son livre, très complémentaire du cours proposé par DOMESTIKA. Généreux dans la transmission de son savoir faire, une passion qu'il a envie de faire partager. Bonne progression pour acquérir de bonnes bases. Merci beaucoup. J'espère que d'autres cours suivront.

Absolutely wonderful course, I was so excited to get started on this course after it was recommended to me by a previous professor!

Great course to learn some of the basics of sketching and using watercolour. As a beginner this has definitely helped me on my journey. However, even after watching the videos of how to paint the final piece first and then going back to try and ‘paint along’ with Alex, I did struggle to try and keep up (even when stopping the video), but that’s just me as I learn by copying the techniques to get an understanding. All in all though a great reference point that i can keep coming back to. Thanks!

Excelent course. Alex manages to summarize the concepts very well in the explanation, as well as demonstrate them right after in examples - which makes the learning process much more dynamic.

A fantastic course with lots of insights. Alex explains things thouroughly and designed nice exercices to help you make a quick progress. I'm sure to come back to some of the lesson in the future as I practice more.

I haven’t quite finished this course but I would like to say is it’s a very thorough and informative course. Alex has enhanced my way of approaching my subjects from a better angle. Now I see how my pictures tell a story as there is depth into my paintings. I’m really enjoying this course.

He has passion and the break down to make you believe you can do this. You need to use this course to understand how to draw what you see and possibly from imagination as well.
