Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

I enjoy Alex's easygoing, conversational style and thorough demonstrations of technique. Would like to see more courses from him.

He was very detailed and clear in explaining his process, and as a visual learner, I enjoyed watching him go through all of stages in real time. I personally love his style, but also feel this would be a solid course for anyone who works with ink, pen, watercolor, or pencil.

Me ha gustado mucho ver el proceso de trabajo de Alex Hillkurtz, conocer su procedencia del mundo del cine, su evolución a través de sus cuadernos y trabajos, y sus influencias. He aprendido algunas cosas que no conocía y apreciado su visión de la acuarela. Ahora me falta la práctica y soltura necesarias para emularlo, pero estoy en ello. :)

This is a phenomenal course. As a beginner, I struggle with perspective and Alex helped make it very straight forward and understandable. My finished piece is just OK; but I am excited to try it again and will start looking at buildings and architectural lines with a different perspective now. Would definitely take another one of his courses.

This is excellent... Alex is a great presenter and covers basic skills of perspective and using watercolour technique in a simple, clear and engaging way. Would highly recommend this.

The course is very well made. Alex is clear and very instructive. The course is very focused on a single project which makes it hard to distinguish general skills and techniques from project specific ones. But practice makes perfect and it is a good starting point for beginning with watercolors.
