Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Alex is a gifted communicator, teacher, and superb artist! He walked me through the beginning painting skills that I needed, and encouraged me to practice! I have watched his videos over and over, to utilize his tips and techniques for myself. I learned so much. Thank you, Alex!

I love this course formally reasons ! First of all he tried to teach how to overcome frustration ,showing with calm all the process .Then he pushed us to find out our own style and finally he advised us to enjoy , discovering what kind of arts is the best for us, what we like the most and what is our motivation .Telling his experience we really appreciated not only the wonderful teacher he is ,but also the human person. I am not a beginner but I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and the artist view on finding your own voice and his evolution as an artist. This course is excellent in presenting an overview of the basics such as perspective, color washes, composition, mixing watercolors, and execution of a quick pen and ink and watercolor wash painting. It is a great introduction to the world and joy of urban sketching.

Alex is great teaching this course because he covers far more than I expected. It’s helpful to be able to go back and refer to any stage, supplies used and how to use them, etc.

The course is in English!! Yay... and I really like the easy to follow instructions by Alex. He comes from a rich tradition of film-making and creative work, yet makes the course so easy to follow. I would def recommend this course, if you love architectural sketching.
