Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Very well explained, the course had a good structure. Alex' pronuncation as well as the translation were easy to understand. I've received some new impetus. I liked the look into his sketchbooks.

Amazing!!! Mr Hillkurtz is not only a great and persistent Artist, but, His specific, clear, neat and humble teachings, made the experience fun and informative. I, also in the process of finding my voice in The Healing of Arts, can only hope, that will be a future lessons. Thanks Alex, for sharing your skills with the world.

I've had a tendency to hang too long (the devil is in the details) on my paintings and this course - thank you Alex - is going to train me to see & paint the basics instead of disappointing myself with mirror images that fail. I can't wait to try another, and another, and...

I enjoyed Alex’s course. His introduction was particularly interesting and his relaxed delivery was clear and distinct. I especially liked the sections on thumbnail and pencil sketches, and his references to the importance of story telling explained what a painting should accomplish. The unit on finding one’s own style plus how to present one’s work was something not included in other courses I have taken.

El curso esta fantasticamente bien pensado, detallado y sobretodo comunicado. Se entiende muy bien y te invita a ponerlo en practica desde la primera leccion. Alex es un profesor estupendo, claro, conciso y sobretodo que incita a querer realizar cuanto antes todas sus lecciones. Gracias Alex por esta maravillosa oportunidad y por compartir tus experiencias. Yo no soy profesional pero voy a empezar este curso con una enorme ilusion.

I haven't finished the course yet, but so far it's absolutely brilliant.

Alex explains each session very clearly and it's helping me a great deal. Especially the section on perspective.

Alex Hillkurtz is an excellent teacher. You learn not only the basics but also techniques that will keep you drawing and painting for a long time as your skill level grows. This is a wonderful value.

Very good course! You will learn what kind of Tools to use, the steps to take and really give you a good head start to become a better sketcher!

I know I will enjoy this course but I have been busy and only have done unit 1. I really enjoyed the first unit and will get back to it soon!

Even though I’ve done a lot of watercolor before, the course was interesting and it was fun to try adding some pen and ink details to my paintings. Nicely paced and well presented.
