Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

I was a little rusty on sketching... so this course gave me the courage on starting again.

Alex has a wonderful teaching personality. He is easy as well as informative. I've taken some online courses from others and they are not as thorough as Alex nor did they accelerate my confidence as Alex did. He is the best I've observed thus far.

Mesmerising to watch. The teacher captured my attention from the start with his journey, experience and passion for what he does. Excellent instruction.

The teacher is brilliant very on point great to listen to and the course was a good fit for me as a beginner.

This course has been very informative and educational! My architectural drawing skills have definitely improved with Alex's instruction. I now make it a practice to go into my downtown area and sketch the buildings and interesting structures (to be painted later in my studio). Thanks Domestika for another awesome class!

I really like Alex Hillkurtz style of watercolour and ink painting. The course is well structured, well explained and easy to follow. There are great watercolour tips and I have enjoyed this course a lot. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn how to paint with watercolour.

Excellent course! I wanted to learn more about watercolor so I could then apply it through Procreate to work on personal art projects. This course was exactly what I was looking for to learn how "real" watercolor works and is applied. The instructor obviously loves drawing and painting. It was a real pleasure to learn from him!

Dies ist ein sehr empfehlenswerter Kurs! Alex Hillkurtz hat ihn sehr systematisch und gut strukturiert aufgebaut. Man merkt, dass er darauf bedacht ist, alles ganz genau und anschaulich zu erklären. Und die kleinen Tipps, die er noch am Rande gibt (z.B. für den Umgang mit zu stark haftendem Klebeband für den Rand einer Zeichnung in Arbeit), lassen ihn noch um so sympathischer rüberkommen. Ich habe wertvolle Einsichten gewonnen und wirklich von diesem Kurs profitiert.

I very much enjoyed this course. I felt that Alex's lessons were very valuable. While I feel like I have a lot to improve on, I feel that the things I learned from Alex will, with practice help me to improve. Thank you!
