Overview
“In this first lesson I will summarize everything we are going to see throughout this course. This is a very component-focused course, where we will see how each one works separately so that the student understands the possibilities of games with physics available in Unity.”
In this video lesson Juan Diego Vázquez Moreno addresses the topic: Welcome, which is part of the Domestika online course: Course 5 - 2D Physics in Unity. Expand your knowledge of physics and learn to control gravity.

“UNITY 2D COURSE 5 LESSON 1 Welcome Welcome to this new Basic Unity 2D course on physics. We will focus on the tools we have available to add physical mechanics in your games. You will see the Rigidbody component and how to configure it to affect your characters with gravity. We will see the Colliders, Triggers and physical materials to create surfaces such as ice or wind effect. We will see a more advanced concept such as Raycasts. and we will create a character that moves like Mario on the screen. In the next lesson I will make an introduction about physics in Unity.”
