Estela Botello, an artisan from Madrid based in Barcelona, is the creator of L'ABU Studio, whose objective is to recover the embroidery tradition and give it a new life, using wood as a base. The project was born as a tribute to her grandmother, who taught her to create with her hands: embroidering, knitting and crocheting.
Estela studied fashion design at the Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda in Madrid and for 12 years she has worked in large companies in the sector, including the Inditex group. After living in Istanbul and Bangladesh, he decided to change his career and create his own studio, where he seeks to create objects with heart and conscience, combining tradition and technology.
