About the video: The idea: brainstorming and sketches
“There are infinite ways to develop ideas — taking other artists as a reference, writing thoughts, inquiring into our emotions, our experiences or our environment, etc. — but in my case, it is the brainstorm (or brainstorming ) the one that allows my inspiration to flow. In this lesson I will show you that secret notebook where my brainstorms roar, and how my photographs spring from this rain of words and concepts.”
In this video lesson Dara Scully addresses the topic: The idea: brainstorming and sketches, which is part of the Domestika online course: Introduction to Narrative Photography. Learn the resources to tell a story through images.

AreasFine-art photography, Interior Photography, Narrative, Photography, Storytelling
Dara Scully started taking photography at seventeen and has since then developed a creative voice and a universe through experimentation, error, and play. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca (Spain) and completed her technical training in photography at the EFTI School in Madrid (Spain).
In her work, she explores everything that seduces her and shapes her artistic universe: childhood and the transition to adolescence, instincts, the link between the human and the wild, and everything that lives in the shade. Dara’s photographic work has been exhibited at art fairs in Spain, Great Britain, France, and Iran.
