THE DEAL
To design and develop a minimalist, responsive website for one of the premier interior and architectural design firms in India – dwp interics pvt ltd.
With a presence in 7 of the top metro cities in the country, their website wasn't leveraging their position as a recognised leader in the field. However, during the course of our first meeting, and my penchant for delving deeper into the story and vision behind the brand and their existing strategy for the future growth of the firm – it was becoming evident that a revamp of the branding was the need of the hour.
Ironically, it wasn't a hard sell at all as the client was happy that I raised the topic, because it was something that was bothering them for a while and had to be addressed. It made sense that bringing clarity to the brand as a whole, would firstly be a better approach than having to do it after developing their new website and risk having to revamp it all once again.
A wise investment decision, wouldn't you agree?

THE DOPE
The genesis of any brand always intrigues me and this one did not disappoint. With a rich history behind the global brand of DWP and the decision by one of the co-founders to operate in India led to the birth of DWP Interics in 1984.
A global traveller and a creative businessman passionate about minimalist, functional design would be his apt description. Unsurprisingly, the tagline for the brand came into being very early on in our discussion, Design With Passion.
Cliched, I know yet simplicity is always cliched no?

The new branding exercise (which you can read here) not only uplifted the firm but also provided them with a consistent, scalable visual identity that was carried forward across all brand communications such as the corporate brochure.
The client was very clear on minimal information and focusing attention on their projects. The user friendly responsive website provided ease of access and focused on key projects designed and developed by dwp interics. Projects could be filtered based on their locations and client names. This saves users on time and enables them to browse through multiple projects in specific metros of their interest.
Getting the right info quickly, before a social media distraction is key, right?

Professional photography was commissioned for each of their projects to reflect globally respected standards and showcase their expertise in a way that matched the ethos of their new brand.
The website was also a medium to inform existing and prospective corporate clients about the brands ideology and contact information while maintaining and building a consistent visual brand identity online.

THE EXPERIENCE
"Rajesh came in to redesign our brand logo and identity and create a minimalist website that matched our ethos. His creative expertise and unique design solutions as visible on our website is something that I have appreciated since the start and is the reason I have retained him as our brand design consultant for more than a decade.I have a high regard for him professionally as well as personally and would highly recommend him to those who understand the importance of creative and functional design solutions when it comes to brand logo and identity creation."
- Raju Philip Chacko, Founder, DWP Interics
The entire re-brand exercise not only got them global recognition but also attracted the right talent, corporate clientele and increased profitability.
Yup. It always starts with branding.
