Carla Jacobson

I’m currently working as a part time artist . I went to university back in the 90s and studied textile design . In fact my final project was Childrens bedroom design . I actually didn’t work as a designer from graduating . I went into fashion buying ( childrenswear ) , so my love of children and anything child related always influenced my creative decisions . I am a mum of 3 boys and in the lockdown of 2019 ,I went back to creating and drawing after many years . Childrens book illustration has always been a dream from my school days , and I’m finally confident in my style as an artist and would love to take it into illustration .
