Free E-Book: 100 Creative illustrations By Weberson Santiago

ArtBook features vibrant designs by an illustrator who specializes in children’s illustration
Aside from lots of practice, illustration is a creative process that requires a vast library of references and influences. It is only then that an illustrator will be able to develop their own style and succeed in capturing our attention with lines and colors.
Weberson Santiago (@webersonsantiago) is an illustrator, writer, and teacher who has published several projects and books for children since the beginning of his career. He has worked with major Brazilian and Portuguese publishers, as well as Veja magazine and Folha de S.Paulo newspaper.

Today, Weberson shares Artbook, a project he published in 2016 and which features work that he carried out over the course of nearly two decades.
Among its pages, you will find sketches, studies, and many other compositions that are sure to inspire your own illustrations.

This art book was produced through a crowdfunding platform and represents a milestone in the career and creative life of the Brazilian illustrator. Santiago is an expert in children's literature and creating images that complement a narrative.
"I will define this book using just two words: happiness and celebration. Publishing this book, which is filled with graphic history, on the night before I turn 33 years old, brings me immense pride. My first job was working on a newsstand aged 11. During my childhood, children's books, comics, radio, and music were of great importance. The evangelical church was also present. It provoked upset and fear, but I heard great stories there."

Among easily recognizable characters, drawn mainly for books and other editorial projects, Artbook explores intense and powerful images, vibrant colors, and endless creativity. This book presents a very unique way of looking at the world.
"It's exciting to see so many drawings and books published. It always reminds me of the time I spent wanting to create designs for the books, magazines, and newspapers that I loved. It was an honor to be able to work with so many people who I had always admired and who, in a way, influenced me as a reader and my way of looking at the world."
