Challenge: Create an Illustration Using Only the Color Blue

Illustrator and editorial designer, Bruno Valasse, takes the Domestika Creativity Challenge and creates an illustration in nothing but shades of blue.
Bruno Valasse (@brunice) graduated from Mexico’s Faculty of Arts and Design. Then his love of books led him to specialize in editorial design.
Paradoxically, Bruno never saw himself as an artist, having always intended to become an architect so he could build his mother a house. But like many creative minds who discover their true calling later on, Bruno started experimenting at university, in his case with illustration and drawing. This launched him on the path to becoming a successful illustrator and the designer of books and covers for publishers including: Harper Collins, Penguin Random House and Editorial Planeta.
Bruno loves to illustrate books because he sees them as time machines that tell stories. And illustrations make reading so much more entertaining and exciting.
Taking advantage of his passion for drawing, Domestika set him a challenge: create an illustration using nothing but the color blue.
Do you think he’ll succeed? Find out in the following video:
