Teresa Freitas teaches students how to create colorful and unique images in an urban environment using composition and editing techniques in her Domestika course “Photography with Color: Create a Cinematic Look”. The goal of this course is to enable students to take striking photographs and develop their own signature aesthetic.

Today we want to share a really cool free resource from the course with you! Teresa has put together a list of her recommended films for you to watch in order to gain inspiration by the use of color and aesthetic in the films visual storytelling. When you watch it you should stay aware of how color relates to meaning and sets the tone of a specific scene or the entirety of the film.
