Tools and Ingredients
To get started, you'll need the following tools and ingredients:

Culinary torch
Wood chips (oak works well)
Cutting board
Cocktail glass

Method 1: Smoking with a Culinary Torch

1. Prepare the Wood Chips: Place a pinch of wood chips in the center of your cutting board.
2. Ignite the Wood Chips: Use your culinary torch to light the wood chips.
3. Trap the Smoke: Quickly cover the burning wood chips with your cocktail glass to trap the smoke inside.
4. Infuse the Cocktail: After a few seconds, flip the glass, pour your cocktail in, and let the smoke infuse with the drink. The smoke clings to the sides of the glass, enhancing the aroma and flavor.

Method 2: Using a Smoke Top or Chimney Smoker

1. Load the Chimney: Place wood chips into the chimney smoker and set it on top of your filled cocktail glass.
2. Ignite and Infuse: Light the wood chips with the torch. Smoke will fall into the glass and settle on the cocktail.
3. Control the Smoke: Leave the smoke to infuse for 10-20 seconds, depending on your preference for smoky flavor.

Adding smoke to your cocktails can transform the drinking experience, creating a memorable and inviting aroma. Experiment with different wood types and smoking times to find your perfect balance.
