Aside from beer floating (drinking beer on an inflatable over ice cold water...) and participating in the World Wife Carrying Championship, for which you might need to be drunk too for even considering it...

Back to Mills: Her books have inspired people all over the world to make more crafts. "Crafting has so many health benefits and I want to share everything I know about it with you."...Thank you Molla! You are right. But don't drink too much beer whilst crafting, though... Then even crochet could end up worsening your health!

Amigurumis are basically crochet plushies... but they can be much more! And Joanna Kienmeyer (@jojilie) can show us how:

Jo is a special needs teacher living in the heart of Austria. When Keinmeyer isn't teaching, she is crocheting. And her greatest passion is amigurumi! "I love taking a crochet hook in one hand and some yarn in the other and creating cute characters, whether they are dolls or animals. I still find it so exciting when each creation gets its own little personality."... Don't worry Amigurumis are not voodoo dolls... (even if they sound eerily similar...)!

In this free lesson, Joanna Kienmeyer will teach you how to read crochet guidelines to create patterns. If you've seen the abbreviations used for crocheting before you might agree, that they look daunting at first glance... Maybe even at second glance, too! Thankfully Joanna (or Jo like her friends call her... No, I don't know her... Please, don't tell her!) can help us decipher this secret coding to finally knit the cute amigurumi that lies beneath!

3. Free Lesson: Make Your Own Sweater

Katie Jones (@katiejonesknit) isn't yet a granny but she sure knows how to knit a granny sweater...! I couldn't help myself... As a blog writer, I sometimes luck the discipline not to take the easy way out! And yes, "sometimes" is an understatement...

Katie is a bright and bold knitwear designer who loves color and who teams playful aesthetics with a love for craft and community! She launched her self named brand in 2014 (Oh so, do people address her as Katie Jones®, then?) and have since won Selfridges Bright New Things Award in 2016 and been stocked in luxury stores worldwide... Wait, was Katie® herself stocked in a store? or was that just, her company persona? Oh, of course it was her knitted creations! Sorry, her® knitted creations!

In this free lesson, Katie Jones® addresses the topic: Basic Granny Square... And I'm only repeating verbatim those words, I wouldn't dare call a granny "basic" myself!

4. Free Lesson: Basic Stitches

Alicia Recio Rodríguez (@alimaravillas) claims that grandmothers freak out over her knitting techniques! Can we leave grandmothers alone, once and for all...? I'm sorry, that might be a bad idea, actually!

Alicia is an Insatiable crocheter and a person who believes in lifelong learning and constructivism (not related to the philosophy of science theory...!). Alelí Deco Crochet (@alelidecocrochet) is a designer and crochet teacher. Since she was little Alelí spent her time doing crafts; painting with watercolors, recycling furniture, embroidering and knitting. Alelí was always very involved in the world of DIY... Suffice it to say, Alelí is a huge fan of vintage styles, flowers and pastel colors.
