Arineh Soukiassian

Hello, I am Arineh. I've born in Iran in an Armenian family. My family is survivor of Armenian genocide 1915. I grew up in Iran and then moved to Armenia and studied Architecture. My father, aunt, and 2 other members of family are architects. So I grew up in that environment. As of in my family it was a responsibility to participate in social cultural events, since childhood I was exposed to theater, film industry, photography, acting, dancing, singing, set design and making the set...so It was hard for me to choose, I took the hardest and the one which embodies all of the above: Architecture. I understand and approach to the life through architecture and as an architect I believe all the above mentioned experiences has made my architecture so I believe in focusing on architecture but practicing like a child and exploring life.
I recently, since 2016, started to practice furniture design. Furniture design would satisfy my need of creating and building and seeing the result fast. After long years, I call it "Cinderella Era", I finally am starting to stand again as an architect (still working solo).
Few months ago I had a very hard project on hand for which I really needed to expand and fast.Was looking for inspiration and suddenly I came across a GENIUS profile and the rest is history ) and now I'm proud student of His! )))
