Elisabetta Renwick

I've been stitching in some form since I was seven years old. My maternal grandmother and my mother were both excellent seamstresses, and I learned from both of them. I sew functional items (clothing, cushions, bags), knit, do upholstery, weave and do embroidery and quilting. I have long been drawn to sashiko because of its roots and it having grown out of hardship. That truly speaks to me in a meaningful way.
