CookieCafe is the app that makes ordering and picking up easy and fun. Here you can find many of your favourite products or nicely curated offers of the week.
The app was created as a result of the UX challenge. As a UX designer, I had to find a solution to help the clients of Cookie Cafe - with social distancing and wait times, I have been asked to develop a digital solution so that customers can order their beverages and snacks in advance.
After a detailed and iterative process (which you can find in my portfolio), I've come up with a digital solution with a simple strategy:

To keep the customer in mind, the persona of Cath Bishop was created. From that moment, I've addressed everything in the app for her, making her the most important reference for me in creating the tone and voice of the application.

One of the things that helped me to determine the language of the app was an exercise suggested by Mario Ferrer - "this, but not this":

Before taking part in the course, I had some frames ready for the CookieCafe application, based on UX process, research, and a lot of iterations:

But "Introduction to UX writing" help me polish some of the existing frames, add new ones, or completely change those I've had already.
For example, I've updated onboarding screens. Before, those were rather packed-with-text one-pagers. Now, I can present you with a few easy-to-digest steps:

I've added a few frames for logging in. One with a starting point and one with an error message:

For a content designer (aka UX writer) it's important to remember about the content for the empty states. In the CookieCafe app's case, I've chosen to create an empty state page for the Favourite tab. When there's been nothing added yet to the Favourite tab, as a user you will see the curated content.
And... one of the exercises was to create a conversation with a chatbot. So, in the second frame, you can see my take on this.

Last, but not least I've prepared some notifications and error messages for the CookieCafe app - keeping in mind the tone and voice of my application:

Thanks for checking out my project after a little update thanks to the course by Mario Ferrer.
