This project i realized during my studies of communication design at The Braunschweig University of Art.
It is dedicated to the question of what relationships exist between the artistic genres of graphic design and architecture and how the first can influence the latter, in the sense of a free aesthetic debate that exists detached from economic considerations that too often hinder a truly creative process or even make it impossible. Functional considerations are marginal but present.

Graphic Figure 1 leads to the construction of Architectural Figure 1.
The connections here are less obvious and concern primarily the proportions based on the golden ratio. In this case, the formal aspects are less part of the consideration. Rather, the sensual quality of the composition of the graphic figure is the inspiration for an intuitive approach on creating the architectural figure.
This leads to an interpretation of an architecture that can be read as a studio and exhibition house.

Graphic Figure 2 and Architectural Figure 2 share a constructive derivation.
The two-dimensional logic of the graphic is transferred into three-dimensional space. As a result there is an architectural structure that can be read as a modular house.

Architectural Figure 3 results primarily from a constructive design derivation from Graphic Figure 3.
The construction could be read as an observation tower.
