Introduction/ "Save The world" 2019 Project- "Using the past to shape the future"

My name is Eva Balcazar I currently live with my family in Germany and am exploring my many interests to see where I belong. I have been fascinated with movies and fashion for many years of my life and have always struggled to know which direction I wanted to take my career in. I studied fashion in Paris for a Semester and while I was encouraged to take up High Fashion, I wanted to explore this option first as costuming in films and theater has been a major Fascination throughout my life. My favorite films in regards to fashion design are often fantasy films such as Tarsem's The Fall, Ridley Scott's Legend, and many of the costumes from the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films.

"Save the World" Was the theme for my semester at fashion design school in PCA, Paris France (2019). I approached my research class by developing a line that combined old fashioned eco-friendly concepts with modern fashion technologies to theoretically develop more eco-friendly and beneficial clothing. The Actual clothing design was developed with the idea of combining older military uniforms and integrating them with modern tech-wear.

In my Digital drawing course I developed a line of clothing that took the three continents of South and North America and Asia and combined them in a series of designs that can be used in each local area and created with recycled fabrics and materials to prevent carbon footprint and utilize recycling habits.
