Media Editor

MPS ships billions of products a year, which are used in everything from computer electronics and IoT (internet of things) to laptops and cars. We are transforming power electronics design for electrical vehicles, robots, large battery packages, datacenters, and automotive and industrial applications with memory based, programmable, plug-in-play products. The Media Editor is responsible for creating and developing professional videos and visual designs from raw footage, sound files, and design assets to support worldwide marketing campaigns. This position will work with an experienced marketing team (former Amazon, Microsoft) across worldwide offices to create content for one of the fastest growing semiconductor companies.

Responsibilities:

• Create videos and help grow the MPS YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqOx8jWRKEq4TpfcjCz0Isw
• Film, edit, color grade, and create professional videos from raw footage and sound files, including story boards, animatics, video drafts, design mock-ups, etc.
• Assist with creation of design assets to support video creation
• Iterate rapidly on video and design concepts and prototypes according to changing requirements, work reviews, and user feedback.
• Establish clear understanding of video storylines and purpose of video creation
• Present and defend videos and designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Assist with updates and creation of all company video templates
• Product image photography, including taking photos and editing images for use in marketing materials
• Manage the archival system assuring all assets and masters are properly backed-up and safely stored.
• Manage the upload of video, design, and photo files to servers
• Communicate and coordinate with product marketing, product engineering, sales, marketing, and executives to gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos

Qualifications:
• Degree in film editing or related field
• 2-5 years of experience editing various projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions
• Excellent communication skills for solid understanding of project scope and implementation
• Proficient in creating concept boards and other design assets for planned video projects
• Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
• Knowledge of a wide range of video and photographic lighting setups
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightworks, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
