Francesca Calvi

I am a pattern designer and illustrator based in Milan, Italy. At one point I decided to turn my love for drawing into my work so... here I am. I am curious about nature, its small creatures, and sense of humor. Spending time observing and drawing plants, flowers and animals, expressing myself: this is the life I try to live as often as possible.

But to feel alive I also need to fight for what I love. Protecting what we love is instinctive, that's why defending nature and life is a priority - and the urgency of our times - for me.
To work for a sustainable art and fashion industry is to do my part and to give value to what I create.
