Welcome! I'm Belinda, your course instructor and the Creator and Owner of XO Illuminated. I began my candle making journey in 2020 and what started as a hobby quickly grew into something more! Having a passion for my health and the environment, I decided to make my own soy-vegan and chemical-free candles, wax melts, and soaps.

I have 4 years of candle making experience and use various techniques like the "whipped wax" effect, glittering, and meltable, decorative wax molds. In my experience, I have gone through a bunch of trial and error so you don't have to! I am skilled at wick size, fragrance load, making over 100 candles at once, and much more. I am also widely known through my creative videos on various social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. I can't wait to be a part of your candle making journey!
