Susan Singer

I am a full time artist who usually works in pastels and oils, but during COVID, I have set the goal to learn illustration and watercolor just for the heck of it. I have taken about 10 courses with Domestika so far and have found each and every one to be excellent and helpful. It's the highlight of my day to check in to whichever class I'm taking and to work on it a bit. Right now I'm in the middle of Laura McKendry's course on Illustrating Nature. One of her assignments is to draw/paint a subject 100 times. I'm on #35 and am loving the assignment. It is helping me get the looseness in my work I've never accomplished before. Laura is an amazing instructor, as all the others have been as well. I'm very grateful for Domestika, especially during this pandemic. It has given me a wonderfully creative focus.
