Introduction
For my Reimagine the Screen project I've selected the well known heist movie, Ocean's 11, the original version from 1960. I've always been captivated with old films and the more I watched them the more I was in love with them. I hope my love for this film will transpire in my project as well.

Supplies
For this project I've used Photoshop.
Inspiration
Before beginning any project I'm always gathering material for inspiration and creative flow. Giving the assignment, the first thing that came to me was the revolutionary Polish School of Posters. Artists like Jan Lenica, Henryk Tomaszewski, Wiesław Wałkuski, are among the groundbreaking graphic artists that reframed our way of visualizing a film poster.
With that in mind, my approach to this project had a couple of aspects that are quite significant. Composition, Concept, Line work, and Typography style.
For a better understanding of my reference point I've searched all versions of the Ocean's 11 poster. This is a great site that I've used: https://posteritati.com/film/5971/oceans-eleven?srsltid=AfmBOore7EImX4FvNLjtmwI6eHgcGL0PrX2znUYorM_9BWRZOGUohoCW

Step 1: First Drafts
After I got my idea, I've quickly doodled the main elements and added a bit of color to help me better visualize the composition.

Step 2: Sketching the details
In this step I've refined and drawn more precisely some key elements from my initial draft, and added some more ideas.

Step 3: Final step. Putting it all together.
The final step is making sure you are happy with your result and that you has fun creating it!
