Introduction
After a long time of think, I thought that maybe for this project, I thought of making a “promotional drawing” for the characters I came up with, kinda like an introduction drawing.

Supplies
The materials I used for this project was a sketchbook, pencils, ink pens, and markers
The process of this project
I thought that the best way to start this project would be to make some thumbnail sketches to get the idea of how I want the drawing to look like (which I always thought that sketching out some ideas can be very useful for any art related projects) then after I chose the thumbnail out of the three doodles, I then made a small be detailed version of the sketch to have a refined idea of what the final product is gonna be like, I then got started on sketching of the project, then inking the outlines. Afterwards, I then started to do some color test to see which color would look the greatest on the final product. If there is anything I learned from the project is that it is very helpful to sketch out some ideas and make some plans to what the final product is gonna be.

Hi Noah! Thank you for explaining your process so clearly. It’s great to see how thoughtfully you approached this project from the very beginning. Starting with thumbnail sketches and using them to explore composition and ideas is a strong and professional habit, and you’re absolutely right—sketching is one of the most valuable tools in any art project.
Refining your chosen thumbnail into a more detailed sketch, then moving through inking and color tests, shows a solid understanding of workflow and planning. That kind of structure not only improves the final result, but also builds confidence as you work. The biggest takeaway you mentioned—planning ahead and exploring ideas before committing—is an essential lesson that will serve you well in future projects. Keep trusting this process and continue experimenting; it’s clear you’re developing both discipline and creative intention in your work : )
