My project for course: Visible Mending: Colorful Knitwear Repair

I wanted to repair a long rip in my favourite house-socks. They aren’t particularly fancy socks, but they’re comfy and I wanted to save them if I could. My father is dying, and the only thing that I can think to do when I’m too sad is try and keep my hands busy. This course has been so helpful with that, and seeing other people put so much love and tenderness into mending and reinvigorating their possessions has been lovely. Thank you all ❤️

Professeur PlusComme c'est beau, et merci d'avoir partagé votre histoire significative et personnelle. Je suis heureux d'apprendre que la réparation vous a apporté un peu de lumière pendant une période très triste pour vous - en pensant à vous et à votre Père en cette période difficile. Et félicitations - ta sacrée chaussette est très jolie.

Je suis désolé d'apprendre que vous traversez une période difficile. Travailler de mes mains et me concentrer sur les petits points positifs (comme économiser des chaussettes😊) m'a aussi été une bouée de sauvetage. Merci d'avoir partagé votre projet.
