Wave System

Wave is a system which combines modularity and customization in order to fit architectural surfaces like walls or furniture parts. The Wave algorithm allows designers to set the overall dimensions to be covered, while the process automatically generates the individual modules to be produced. Modules are manufactured through a milling procedure using a robotic arm. Apertures for speakers, AC or lighting systems can be defined by simple procedures within the algorithmic tool.

In terms of design language Wave features a folding effect emphasized by a metallic car paint finishing. Wave system was recently used for the interior design of the commercial space WinCity in Milano, designed by Supernormal studio
