I used this composition in the trials. I did a very detailed piece for the trials, which I really liked, but I knew that was only because I was painting as I feel comfortable with, rather than working with confidence with watercolour, as Laura teaches. So, for this version I went for a more sketchy feel building up the colours in layers, rather than painting. I like how it turned out.

J'adore les couleurs de ce caméléon - les violets, les bruns et les jaunes. Il a aussi une belle expression sur son visage! J'adorerais vous voir commencer à travailler sans trait de crayon si jamais vous vous sentiez assez courageux, et voir où cela vous a mené. Je sais que ça peut faire peur! Vous avez magnifiquement utilisé le ton, et il y a une grande sensation de lumière reflétant le corps en particulier. Beaucoup de caractère!
Bravo pour un excellent projet final!
