My project in Creating Patterns Using Watercolor course

I loved this watercolor patterns course! I did include some watercolor elements but also some other printed and sketched objects inspired by my writing practice.

I especially appreciated Lola's instructions on working with physically cut out pieces first. It was a very quick way to try out different configurations. It helped me understand the repeating concept. And, it helped me understand how many elements I needed to use in the pattern. In the beginning I had way too many!

By the time I moved to the computer I knew what I wanted to build.
