I used the following tools: roller, bubble wrap printing, straw circles, dryish fan brush, splatter from toothbrush, water color, fountain pens, water soluble pastels, India ink, quink, lyrics from Donovan, pen brushes, cut and paste (lyrics and magpie), and hand-made paper. Donovan's "magpie" is the Eurasian species and I painted the Black-billed Magpie found in my area (Oregon, USA). Fun project and a first for me coming from attempts at more realistic representations. I'm still stuck with the magpie being a bit too realistic, but next time...
What a great class to think outside the box and explore new tools and methods.

Professeur PlusUne belle image finale! J'adore la combinaison ludique de motifs, de marques et d'une représentation plus littérale. Ils fonctionnent très bien ensemble, donc pour moi, la pie plus réaliste contraste fortement avec les motifs abstraits en arrière-plan. Je suis ravi de voir que vous avez exploré autant d'outils, de matériaux et de techniques différents, tout en gardant votre palette de couleurs minimale. Cela fonctionne bien, en particulier avec un si large éventail de marques. Bravo, une super dernière pièce. Et je suis ravi que vous ayez apprécié le cours!
