I've been retired from teaching for five years now ( I taught kindergarten and 4th grade in the US and Oral English in 3 different universities here in Guilin, China) and I decided to try out some new crafts. It all started when I took a domestika course on how to make an amigurumi doll. Then, I started learning from YouTube channels. I learned about acrylics and watercolors and then recently about sketching. I say "sketching" and NOT "drawing". I want to capture the feeling of a place and be able to come back and "visit" it again. I live in Guilin, China, so I have LOADS of wonderful scenes to sketch.
