Peter Gustafson

Hello, my name is Peter Gustafson, and I have developed a true passion for integrating AI and generative tools into architectural work. I manage a research and architectural studio named "taaod," where I focus on incorporating AI into the architect's workflow.

Moreover, both taaod and I are committed to sharing knowledge. We are dedicated to advocating for the integration of AI in architecture, contextualized within various architectural discourses. This is achieved through delivering engaging lectures at diverse architecture firms. I have also presented on the implementation of AI in architecture at some of the most prominent architecture firms in Scandinavia.

I hold a Master’s degree in RIBA II from the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark, and a Bachelor’s degree, which included an exchange program at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

I believe that my engaging lectures and talks will expand understanding in this field, which is relatively new and garnering increasing attention. Currently, we are at a juncture where AI threatens roles in many work sectors, and understanding the basics of AI in architecture will significantly advance practitioners, as its integration into daily workflows is inevitable. Through my experience in delivering lectures, talks, and workshops, I have developed a method to initially demystify AI for my audience, then explain its fundamentals, and finally demonstrate its practical applications in creating impressive architectural visualizations, illustrations, drawings, diagrams, mood boards, material palettes, and more.
