Megan Wortley

As a recent Fine Art graduate from Arts University Bournemouth, Megan aims to develop her practice and skill set as an illustrator, using her love of narrative to create engaging visuals, while continuing with documenting local stories and personal experiences.

“Throughout my Degree, my practice developed from representing my family history through processes of reflection, focusing on how information has to be transferred, to be remembered.

This transitioned to an interest in fact or fiction, when it comes to discourses around memory, or documentation.
Toward the end of my degree my practice looked at documenting the personal expression of the present through voice and physical materials, that the audience was then able to interact with and experience themselves.

I now want to indulge my love of narrative and fiction, by visually creating new worlds that bring comfort and inspire the next generation."
