Olá, eu sou Marília, tenho 61 anos, brasileira, sou aposentada e tenho 2 grandes alegrias na minha vida: Jesus e minhas netas.
Hi, I´m Marília. I am 61 years old, brazilian, retired e I have 2 big joys in my life: Jesus and my grandkids.
Como todos no planeta, vivemos dias difíceis, e busco conforto na arte. Sempre gostei de artes manuais, e recentemente tenho me dedicado ao crochet e confecção de bonecas, especialmente para minhas netas.
As everybody in the planet, we are living difficult days, and I search confort in the beauty of art. I always loved handcrafts and recently I´ve dedicated sometime to crochet and making dolls, especially to my grandaughters.
Very recently I rediscovered embroidery again, something I learned as a teenager and loved doing dresses to my daughters when they were little.
Needlepainting is now in my system. I´m absolutely in love with it. Can´t stop reading about it, practicing, looking for new projects, trying to find my way. And this week I just learned I´m loosing my sight and in need of an urgent surgery in my eyes, or I´ll be blind. I´m getting ready for surgery in 2 weeks and I have to confess, I´m scared. not for the procedure itself, but for the possibility of not beeing able to embroider again... I´m in love with it and have great plans.
