Hi, my name is Lisa and I am a textile artist with a particular passion for embroidery and surface decoration. I love working with natural fabrics, such as cotton or linen, adding lots of stitch detail and beads or buttons. Where I live is very rural, surrounded by beautiful countryside and nature which is inspiring but I am also influenced by embroidery styles from around the world. I especially like the bright colour combinations you find in South America or Indian textiles.
I have played around with watercolour but feel a total beginner.
