Linda Santavicca

A native New Yorker, Linda spent much of her time in the performing arts where she appeared on stage and in film and television. As the industry went through changes, Linda swapped out the stage for an office and worked in investment banking in marketing, and communications. However, after the market crash of 2008, Linda started her own small business, Pressing Beyond, where she wrote business plans, proposals, resumes, and online profiles for clients as well as consulted with professionals on their career transitions. In 2012, she met her real leading man, Ed, and got married. After their wedding, Linda abandoned New York for Pittsburgh. Within the last eight years, Linda went back to the arts and is a board member for the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) Ohio-Pittsburgh Local. Although most of her time is spent writing her manuscript, Linda has been hosting a weekly podcast, Pressing Beyond. Since its launch, the podcast has been heard across time zones, in destinations never imagined, and has been uploaded in numbers never anticipated. To date, Pressing Beyond has been nominated for the best female podcast by the People’s Choice Awards. When not working, Linda is either running, snow skiing, learning to play golf, or is buried in a good book. She is also determined to sketch in confidence.
