Never did I think that learning how to sew my own clothes would afford me the sort of freedom I have had since I bought my first sewing machine in 2013. Ever since that year, I have gone ahead to win the popular BBC show: Great British Sewing Bee in April 2019.
I am Juliet Uzor. A mum of 1 and an enthusiastic dressmaker who enjoys sewing clothes that fit my style, body type and personality. I trained and worked as a top ranking primary school teacher and recently took on sewing and craft content creation. I have also received training at the London College of Fashion in digital sewing pattern creation.
I work as a freelance sewing and craft magazine columnist. I also use my YouTube channel, blog and social media platforms to inspire people to create and style their own clothes through easy-to-follow sewing tutorials, tips and tricks content.
