Graphic Designer

At VeraContent, we are looking for graphic design support on a social media project.

This is an ongoing project, and this is the first assignment. If it goes well, we would assign you additional batches of graphics to prepare for publication. We also work on a variety of other social media and content creation projects for diverse clients. Successful collaboration on this project could lead to additional projects.

The right candidate will be experienced using Adobe tools, such as Illustrator and Photoshop, to create custom design elements. Experience with Canva is also valued, because we would like the designer to save and organize design elements within the platform (although it is very easy to learn if you know Adobe).

We have existing templates and elements you can use in Canva, and we also would like your creative feedback to create new ones, following our brand guidelines.

Required skills:

- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience in preparing digital files for the web
- Comfortable using Google Drive, where we store files and collaborate on projects
- Strong in time management and meeting deadlines
- Solid understanding of design concepts and strategies
- Ability to communicate well with our team in English or Spanish
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools necessary for the work, such as Canva

Desirable:

- Past experience with Canva
- Experience with other types of design: print layouts, web design (CSS), or video editing, that could be handy for future projects.
- Being quick and interested to learn new tools that complement design (E.g. Wordpress)
