Jacek Wajszczak

I'm a cultural anthropologist and visual artist. In my work, I combine classical methods of the ethnographic workshop with artistic activities. In my free time, I like plays improvised music.

2020 - participation in the exhibition Illustrating Anthropology supported by Royal Anthropology Institute.

2016 - Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarship for the project "Halo Sielce!"

2014 - BEST SCENARIO / SCRIPT IDEA award at the Zlatna International Ethnographic Film Festival for the film "Something Your"

2013 - First prize in the "Ethno in Eye" competition, in the "Space as context" category, for reportage from Uman in Ukraine, a place of Hasidic pilgrimage to the tomb of Tzadik Nachman.
