Danielle Hickford

I am a zoologist, love nature and am especially fond of Australia’s unique fauna. I studied both art and graphic design in high school before embarking on a degree in Zoology. I have always worked with animals (native animals for 13 years and dogs for 5 years) and am lucky enough to live on 50 acres of bush with my husband, 2 dogs and 2 horses and an assortment of native animals in the adjoining state forest. I recently had to retire prematurely due to health issues and have decided to indulge in my passion for art again. I was never spectacular at it but l do find it to be very enjoyable.
