Ewa Morawski

Born in Poland, living in England since 1981. In my early career I have been involved in fine arts, illustration, photography, graphic design, wallpaper and furnishing textiles colour work and design.
Since graduating from Chelsea Collage of Art in London my interests focus on textiles and mixed media artwork. I specialise in freehand machine embroidery. My inspiration comes from nature, my immediate surroundings, worldwide travel, architecture and Polish folk art. I like to experiment and use various techniques in creating. I like drawing, printing, manipulation of materials. Most recently my interests involve rust printing, botanical eco print, drawing and mono printing. Life cycle and life journey is a reoccurring theme in my work.
