I've always had a need to be able to express myself in a creative manner, be it through drawing, writing or through being creative in the work I do. Unfortunately life did not allow for me to follow a purely creative field, but I have found that you can still be creative in any industry (not creative accounting though!) - in my case software development in terms of UI/UX design was a way to achieve this for many years. Now that I do more around managing people and processes, I have found myself drawn back to wanting to build out my drawing and writing ability. I'm a beginner, but want to develop a more regular habit of sketching (especially in the fantasy genre) and overcoming a bit of a fear of perfectionism that can stifle my creativity. Looking forward to the journey and making time for it in a pretty busy schedule!
