I am a self-taught artist. In the journey to discover my own style. I used to love pen sketching since childhood, grew up taking part in various art contests during school days. Never thought that I would even consider art as my career. Coming from a city and family where medical or engineering used to be the sole choice of career. I became a Doctor in Physiotherapy, specialised in the pediatric cardiac unit. My job was to bring back the kid to a normal playful state after open-heart surgery. I was very good at my job, got promoted to the highest level in the hospital. But life had different plans for me, after getting married at the age of 30 had a realisation that change of job wasn't making me happy as it used to be. I became so stressed that it started giving me physical and mental problems. Hence got back into my sketchings as a stress buster. It worked like wonders, I started feeling like myself again. My happiness from art unlocked something which was dormant from so many years. With the help of my husband at every step, I started creating more and more, learning digital art now from past one and half years. I wouldn't say that it was a smooth route, taking a step away from the prefixed route was challenging. I still find myself driven by the past and landing up into a creative block. The only thing which keeps me going is creating something new, an urge to make things beautiful. Hopefully to create an earning from my passion to support myself. And feel a similar sense of Independence.
