Daryl Talbot

I am retired military with 22 years of service in four branches. U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force Reserve, U.S. Army Reserve and finishing with the Oklahoma Air National Guard. I did not plan this career. I just went where circumstances led me. I started my professional art career as a cartoonist and illustrator while I was in the Marines. I cartooned for horse magazines for 45 years starting with Western Horseman Magazine and still do the western stuff for Leanin' Tree Greeting Cards. While I was in college I worked as staff artist in their audiovisual department and began drawing military cartoons for Leatherneck Magazine in 1971 and still doing it. Like most artists I started drawing when I was about 3 years old and never stopped.
