Courtney Grady

I'm currently living and working in Seville, Spain as an AuPair and Private English Professor. I am looking for a position to start after the end of June 2015.

I'm passionate about helping others experience life abroad through international travel, cross-cultural education and language immersion.

My Background, Educational and Otherwise:
I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in International Spanish for the Professions - four years learning a mixture of Spanish language & culture, a series of translation courses, in addition to introductory business courses.

I studied abroad twice, first in the summer of 2012 on Semester at Sea and then again from January to June in 2013 in Seville. These experiences allowed me cross-cultural understanding and immersion, and in addition, opened my mind for future international possibilities - which led me to return to Seville to work as an AuPair and Private English Professor.

I've assisted and worked at an all-girls, (8-week long) residential summer camp in Northern Wisconsin for 9 summers. Starting as a camper, continuing to CIT (Counselor in Training), to junior counselor, and progressively advanced to Senior Staff, as Co-Director of Junior Counselors.

I enjoy finding creative outlets more and more - through photography, journalism, blogging, writing letters to pen pals, drawing, watercoloring, and I am about to begin a course to learn Photoshop. I hope to continue to acquire new skills - artistically and professionally.
