This course was just what I was looking for. I’m a watercolorist and found it difficult to use in the field. I noticed many oil painters using gouache and I had difficulty getting the results they did. Mandy has explained how I can achieve those beautiful layers I saw oil painters getting but in the versatile, portable gouache medium. I travel frequently and this medium is just the right one to pack so I can capture the wonderful scenes I find on my journeys.

As a beginner, I really appreciate her intent to teach with clarity, verbalizing her thought process in each step, especially when choosing and mixing colors. I also appreciate the resources she provides in the attachments ; it is well thought out and it gives me a lot of support and tips to progress in my skills. The only thing that is missing for me, is maybe the reference photo should be attached in the earlier videos when she starts referring to it, instead of attaching it at the last page.

Destaco que ella muestra el paso a paso real de como encara una pintura.

My first gouache course and really enjoyed it! Sometimes hard to match up the colors to the example but that also was a valuable lesson in itself. Wish the last part with "further your skills" was a bit longer with some actual exercises. Would definitely recommend the course! Thanks Maddy :-)

Amazing course, gouache it's a wonderful medium, and the instructor is a great landscape artist, and she explains very well her knowledges.
