Brilliant, inspiring course. Ingela has a wonderful no-nonsense manner and shares great insight into her creative process and the industry at large. I really valued the course, the project and the wider examples.

When I saw this course I immediately signed up because Ingela is one of my favourite illustrators. It's a great course with lots of good advice.
It was a real challenge to complete this project and especially to finish the book.
The course is classed as a beginner course, but I think that having a good level of drawing skills makes it more enjoyable.
Thank you for this course, it has given me a new motivation to work and to present my creation to publishers.

This charming class gave some great insight into Ingela’s process. This course definitely sparked some serious inspiration for me. It was easy to follow along with and great for a beginner or someone who is already an expert in illustrator.

Loved the introduction and insight into the artist’s inspiration however, compared to other Domestika courses i feel the development of ideas shown here suggested the ideas were already fully formed and any reference to vintage illustration styles was not explored as well as usual. As a teacher of art myself i felt i was just watching someone expert showing their expertise rather than being part of a workshop that suggested ways to identify and explore vintage visual styles to a project.

I am enjoying this course very much. I recommend this course even for experienced illustrators. It is challenging but so satisfying to go through all of the steps and do the work because when you put it all together magic happens. Thank you so much for presenting this course.

I loved this course. What a great inspiration to start my journey in illustration. I have loved her illustrations for years and was delighted to see that she collects inspirational children's books like I do. She was clear with instructions and gave some very good information.
