Phillip has such a calm energy which make this course so relaxing to watch. He shows really well basics of drawing with ink. I enjoyed this course and found it useful for beginning a journey with a dip pen. I already used some tips from a course :)

Very good presenter, in English too, which is great. Hate having to read, at least I can sketch and listen too. Nice exercises. Not too wordy on his background and influences, gets right down to the nitty gritty. I can't recall hearing about what paper to use, but that might be my fault. Nice resources and he does some stellar images. Thank you.

This course has equipped me with some very useful techniques to achieve more depth and detail in my drawings. Definitely worth buying.

The course was ok, not so great as I had expected but definitely one could learn few things. But the course was too short and finished soon and just watching the teacher do his project while he explains a few things as he draws along Anyway, each student has personal views but I am beginning to doubt which reviews are really honest. Still recommended for students who have zero or little knowledge about dip pen and ink painting
