Course was enough for me to learn how to paint something simple yet beautiful. I enjoyed this course. I also appreciate that Christian responds to questions and gives feedback right away. He was very clear and pace was just right.

The course was overall a bit short, especially the beginner section compared to other watercolor courses here. However, Christian, you showed me how you can change a seemingly basic/boring canvas with not much elements into a work of art, for example: using your techniques like the rewetting and dipping away with dry paper to create detail on the water. That's what made me like your course. You inspired my beginner journey!

This course was just what I needed. I have been painting realistic pictures for many years and I wanted to learn a more loose approach but was nervous about it. This course has given me the confidence I needed. The teacher is very good, very clear and thorough in his explanation. Thank you to him for taking me in a new painting direction.

I found this course while looking for a new direction for my watercolor paintings. I've tried flowers, birds, wildlife along with landscape and architecture but this artist loose style attracted me. I did my first painting today and was surprised that by using some of the hints it was better that expected. I will try some of the other photo references and some of my own and see how it goes.I also enjoy all the other reference materials he have included. Looking forward to his next class..

I used to paint with watercolours as a child but later I lost my self confidence and did not like the result.So, I took this course from simple steps to gain my confidence again.I learned new things about technique and pigments.It was not as complicated as I thought and Christian is very clear and methodic.Would like to have more classes with the artist also for advanced level.

I'm glad I took this course. It's well organized and conducive to learning. I would have liked to see a few more examples of him creating effects including atmospheric effects.

Great course! He's very thorough when explaining things. He's an amazing artist and I'm excited to have learned from him. I wish the course was a bit longer with more opportunities to paint things with him instead of just the 1 example. Would definitely take more courses from him.
